Photographs of Real Metro 6R4s
Metro 6R4s at Castle Combe
The following Metro 6R4s were photographed at a Rally Action Day at Castle Combe. The first two Metro 6R4s look very similar to the Scalextric Computervision Metro 6R4. The slot car 6R4 does not have a big spoiler like a real Metro 6R4.
This Metro 6R4 does not have Computervision painted on the doors and has a set of additional lights.
I got some more pictures of this Metro 6R4 which I saw at the Regency Stages Rally (see below). I think the board says it is now crewed by Stuart Furzeland and Derris Jellet.
This Metro 6R4 seems to have a more rounded body kit than the other Metro 6R4s. "I [Rob] think this was the Metro that was developed by the Late great Tony Pond when he was in partnership with David Appleby."
This Metro 6R4 is driven by Kevin King, co-driven by Robert Mallet and sponsored by Plumbing Plus.

I now have some pictures of Metro 6R4s in action in the Regency Stages Rally at the Brean Leisure Park.
