Taran Caterham R400
This is a real Caterham R400 sponsored by Taran Microsystems and raced in the Powertrain Caterham R400 Challenge. It is equipped with a MG XPOWER 1.8 litre engine and a Caterham 6 speed gearbox. It probably weighs 510kg as this is the minimum weight allowed in this formula excluding the driver. The pictures were taken in the Paddock and during qualifying at Castle Combe. Hopefully this will give you some ideas if you want to build your own Caterham kit car.
